I was tired of looking at that stupid journal entry that was up on my page so I decided it's time for a new one. Huttah!

So I went to Florida last week. Spent most of the time at Universal, and it was kick ass. Met Spidey, went on rides, watched movies, bought lots of shit, angst'd because the Back to the Future ride is gone, and tried feeding one of my friends to a T-Rex. (It did not work. The T-Rex was fake. Baaaw!)

Then I got back in time for my parents 25th anniversary, which was the same day as my 20th birthday. Which was also =MapleRose's 21st birthday. And I need to draw art for her. Carp. I'll have to do that later...

In awesomer news, I'm going to be selling art at Petrolia's Art in the Park the 10th and 11th of this month, which means I've actually gotta, y'know, make art to sell. o_o So expect a decent outflow of artwork from me, because I actually have time to do things now.

But yeah, when I heard I'd be selling art there this year I was so excited. Art in the Park is a big thing in our community, where local artist get to strut their stuff in front of Canada's oldest opera house (the VPP, Victorian Petrolia Playhouse), along with local bands and singers and musicians playin' up some tunes in the bandshell.

It's going to be one hell of a weekend, especially since it's in the middle of the town's Hard Oil Days and a few other major events. I'm expecting a good turn out
